Hi Beauties! Today i have a cute little review for you all thanks to a lovely lady called Lauren from BrandnewsoulutionsPR - (Website Link) Now when i received my little Burts Bees package in the mail i was beyond exited. Let me tell you, i had never used a Burts Bees product until 3 years ago when i won a Priceline competition now me and Burts Bees Replenishing Lip Balms are lovers (so to speak) The reason i love Burts Bees so much? Because they actually add colour to most of their lip balms. You have to agree with me on this one... Doesn't a bit of colour mask up and hide red, dry and sensitive lips? As much as i like my chopsticks, Burts Bees knows how to make a girl with dry ass lips feel pretty!
Wishing you all a happy Monday! Today this post is self explanatory. My mum is currently undergoing treatment for mental illness and i am unable to give my blog the full attention i would like. When i am back i will be focusing one of my Mind Body & Soul Monday Posts around mental illness, i think learning how to respond to those situations is very important.
I am remaining positive and would just like to remind everyone to SMILE! Dani xo
Hi Lovers, Today i thought i would have a Q & A with my mum about how to wash hair properly. My mum is a hairdresser (winning) for the most part that is unless its going blonde (she wants nothing to do with that) When my mum isn't washing my hair in a hair basin i notice several things. Its too oily, its too dry. I have a flakey scalp. I have dry ends and oily roots. Why? With that being said it all comes down to one thing. How do i wash my hair? Until now its been pretty simple. Shampoo once, shampoo twice and conditioner once. I hardly do treatments until now i have been using an amazing one from Goldwell with a review coming soon but too cut a long post short, i realised my mum has a complete different way of doing it. I thought she was just being fancy but in fact there is such thing as a "right way".
Hi Beauties, Today as i was applying some coconut oil to my face i asked myself "when did using things we eat become skin saviours? Thats when it dawned on me that natural oils and foods are actually the best things for your skin and i came to the conclusion that if someone opened my skincare draw they would think it was meant for my kitchen not my face. Today I'm going to share with you what i personally think are the best skin care oils and why.
Hi Beauties, Todays Mind, Body & Soul Monday is all about the things that make me feel good on the good side because i am a firm believer that when you look your best you feel your best! I would say skincare wise i use pretty much everything and anything and try and focus on most of that being organic. Lately i have found the perfect "Pamper Combo" as i like to call it. Once a week i give myself 1-2 hours of beauty time, i will be doing face masks, trying new makeup looks, playing with creams and tans and that leads to either being exteremly different shades of colour wether it be my lips, tan, eyes or what not i always make sure i find things that make me feel good!
